In the light of SAP postponing its maintenance fee increase, SAP has taken a big step toward significantly enhancing the level of trust CIOs place in it. It has done so by engaging a task force to confirm customer value through key performance indicators (KPIs). These KPIs are metrics agreed upon by an SAP user committee stating that the attainment of such standards will justify a maintenance fee increase.
