Basis Support

TotalBasis® covers your SAP environment via a dedicated team of Basis and Netweaver experts through constant monitoring, administering, and improving your SAP solution.

TotalBasis Scope includes:

Perform daily monitoring of SAP Production System health including:

  • Abnormal program failures (notify internal staff as necessary)
  • Abnormal system activity
  • Poor system performance
  • Load distribution across SAP Servers
  • Verification of successful backups
  • Output Management
  • Record Locking administration
  • Failed update review
  • Notify users of failed jobs

2. All Database Administration (Oracle, SQL Server, DB2, etc.)

  • Perform daily monitoring of Database health
  • Checking Database logs for abnormal conditions
  • Monitoring and projecting Database growth
  • Performance and tuning analysis for modifications to the Database structure
  • Check for Database warning and error messages
  • Reorganize tables as necessary

3. Operating System Administration

  • Monitoring of operating system errors
  • Application of OS patches
  • OS tuning and proactive maintenance as required by SAP

  • Assist with DR plan design and management

5. Security Administration

  • Assist in security audits
  • Add users to roles
  • Add transactions to roles
  • Remove authorizations from roles

6. Change Management

  • Configure Transport Management System
  • Configure Routes between clients
  • Manage TMS
  • Implement transports as requested

7. Output Management

  • Create SAP printers
  • Lock / unlock printers
  • Download SAP printer drivers
  • Assist in testing / implementation

8. User Administration

  • Create Users as requested

  • Monitor response time and disk, cpu, and work process utilization
